Power Lessons in ACD/Labs Software

January 21-March 18, 2025

January 21-March 18, 2025

Power Lessons are online webinars intended to offer an engaging learning experience to our customers. During these sessions we will demonstrate different ACD/Labs software and cover valuable tips & tricks as well as best practices to optimize your working time. We will also allocate time to answer your questions.

Luminata for Process Chemist: Streamlined Importing of Data from ELNs and Empower

Jan. 21st

Session 1:10:00 AM EST

This Power Lesson will cover various features for improved importing of data from an ELNs and Empower directly to Luminata:

These features covered include:

  • Importing a reaction scheme from an ELN to the Luminata interface.
  • Defining the reaction as a new project and pushing chromatographic data from Empower into the project.
  • Using Luminata to make data driven decisions for process chemistry.

Unlocking Data-Driven Insights: Advanced Plotting Capabilities in Katalyst D2D

Feb. 11th

Session 1:10:00 AM EST

This Power Lesson will look at using Katalyst D2D for high throughput experiments (HTE) to help quickly identify the reactions condition that give maximum product formation.

This workflow will be done in three parts including:

  • Setting up different time points experiments.
  • Collecting the experimental results.
  • Creating plots to compare peak area vs. time.

Chromatographic Retention Modeling of Biomolecules

Feb. 25th

Session 1:10:00 AM EST

This Power Lesson will discuss LC Simulators and how it can be used in the retention modeling of various biomolecules.

During this session we will discuss:

  • Chromatographic retention modeling in LC Simulator.
  • Retention modeling of peptide and protein chromatographic separations.
  • New models implemented in LC Simulator for accurate modeling separation of biomolecules.

Enhanced Web-Based Management for HTE Applications

Mar. 18th

Session 1:10:00 AM EST

Spectrus JS is a family of web applications—an evolution of the tools and capabilities of the Spectrus platform. While Katalyst D2D (Design to Decide) is an AI-enabled software application that offers integrated, automated experiment planning, execution, and analysis. This Power Lesson shows how both work together to manage and process HTE data better all through a web browser.
