Job Opening: Account Manager (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)

The Primary Role of our Account Managers is to help prospects and customers identify needs within their organizations that can be addressed with relevant ACD/Labs capabilities.

This sales position will consist of establishing and maintaining good working relationships with prospects and customers within your territorial area. Product presentations at customers' sites and trade shows, expert knowledge of the Company's products and licensing terms, and communication of your ideas to Marketing and Development are key aspects of the role.

Presently the company covers the market of chemical structure drawing software, spectroscopy data processing and management, NMR prediction and databases of 1H, 13C, 31P, 15N, and 19F nuclei, systematic nomenclature, physical property prediction including logP, pKa, and logD software, MS processing and databasing, Chromatography processing, and Method Development software.

The ideal candidate must have strong prospecting, sales, communication, and presentations skills, and the ability and willingness to learn. Passion, energy, and analytical thinking skills with a proven track record in sales, and a minimum of 3 years in an analytical chemistry environment are also required. He/she holds a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field, understands analytical spectroscopy and chromatography techniques including NMR, MS, UV/IR, HPLC, LC, GC, and is familiar with modern computer technologies. Travel within the territory will be a requirement. Due to the international environment, fluency in English language is mandatory.

If you have excellent interpersonal skills, presentation skills, an ability and willingness to learn, passion, energy, and analytical thinking we are interested in you. Degrees in Chemistry, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related fields are preferable and knowledge of spectroscopy (NMR, IR, MS), chromatography (LC, GC), physical chemistry and/or biochemistry is highly desirable.
